Old Timers around Laurens recall that this little station & Grocery store was the only place during the Depression that they could buy Sugar.
Stories that have been told to current owners include people being able to buy long rolls of Bologna , RC Cola for a nickel, and even fresh pineapple during the depression.
Richard and Cindy Kuhnel Bought the Station in 2002 and have painstakingly restored it to a 1950's Gas Station. It is now being renovated on the inside and includes an original jukebox to enjoy all of those 1950's hit songs. Stop By Sometime and say Hello and Let Nostalgic Station take you back to when times were simpler, ..... the 1950's!
